After graduating from Boston College with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Sarah moved to San Diego, CA where she studied holistic health and wellness for 5 years. Upon returning to RI, she received her license as a Mental Health Counselor in 2007 and went on to complete a 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2015.

Sarah has spent the past 20 years researching, developing, and providing the most effective treatment protocols to help her clients manage and recover from the negative effects of anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress. She believes that the most successful treatment for anxiety focuses on creating changes in the body as well as the mind. In her Yoga for Anxiety classes, she will introduce you to time-honored, evidence-based practices to help you heal.

heal (v.) welcomes Josette John Sobers

Josette is a Hatha Yoga teacher. While studying at Kripalu for her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2018, she recognized the importance of tuning in, pausing, and listening to the body. In 2019 she went on to finish a Yin Yoga certification at Kripalu. She then completed Jon Kabat-Zin's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Certification program, where she learned how to bring mindfulness into the yoga studio and also into daily life.

Hatha yoga teaches you to slow down, find your own rhythm, and breathe into the asana. It teaches you to trust your inner voice. The mind affects the body and the body affects the mind. Josette bridges the imbalance of the mind through the power of the breath and movement. 


Yin yoga helps the mind to meet its edge, promotes an understanding of discomfort, and teaches you to accept life wherever you are on your journey. She will help you to recognize all of life as a meditation in motion. Harness your thoughts and improve your outlook in life by bringing yoga off the mat and into your daily routine. Worry, Anxiety, Stress and Hurry can be met head on when you learn to renew your mind through movement and by shining a light on negative thought patterns. 


For Josette, the most important discovery has been that Yoga is the perfect balance of the mind, not just an exercise routine. She promotes self-empowerment through mindfulness and invites you to light a candle in your soul to build  your own inner sanctuary.
