Each 75-minute yoga class incorporates breath work, meditation, and mindfulness training for an invigorating but restorative healing experience. This yoga practice focuses on increasing awareness, strength, flexibility and balance.
In heal (v.) classes you will learn to unblock stuck energy that is maintaining stress and anxiety...release chronic physical holding of psychological and physical tension in the body...harness the power of the breath to calm an overactive nervous system and prevent panic attacks...listen to what your body is telling you through pain/injury...
Developing the ability to stay focused in the present moment (mindfulness) is a key to preventing stress or anxiety from taking over your life. Otherwise, it's easy to stay trapped in your mind, worrying about things that have already happened in the past or may happen in the future. In heal (v.) classes you will learn to recognize triggers that create anxiety spirals...gain control over intrusive thoughts and limiting beliefs...challenge negative thought patterns that keep you stuck...develop new, healthier ways of thinking and being...
